1956 Nomad with Shasta trailer
Color splash! When I found the picture of the 1956 Chevrolet Nomad with the color-matched Shasta trailer, I instantly wanted to convert it into a color splash picture. But that’s not all. The car and the trailer have been lowered substantially. The track has been widened along with a few touch-ups here and there.

Wow… that’s my ’56 Chevy Nomad and Shasta Trailer. David and I restored them ourselves. That picture was part of a photo shoot for Automotive Traveler Magazine. Not sure how I feel about your lowered version…

Hello Karen and David,
great to hear from you. This actually has never happened before! I had no idea the car and trailer have been featured in a magazine. I just found the picture on the web one day and liked the composition and colors. This was actually my first try to create a color-splash image. The lowering was just a little fun and practice, because I’ve never lowered a car with an attached trailer before.
Much respect for the work you put in this beautiful car and trailer.
